Current CEO, Charles F. Chaplin, is an experienced civil trial attorney representing the interests of insurance carriers and their clients, as well as insureds in disputes against their carriers.  

 

C. Brian Turnau has over twenty years experience as an insurance claims executive managing the resolution of disputes involving homeowners property damage, Commercial General Liability, personal liability, Bad Faith, and Auto liability.  

 

Since taking over the management of Mediation, Inc. while maintaining the core value of supporting attorneys in dispute resolution, they have expanded the scope of our services to better serve non-attorney entities, such as claims adjusters and public adjusters,​ to assist them in resolving disputes without the expense of involving attorneys.

As mediation has become more firmly entrenched in the case flow in the courts of Florida, the Firm has seen more and more cases coming to mediation before suit is filed.  When the parties and their lawyers have the basic facts, pre-suit mediation is the logical alternative to years of litigation with the attendant risk, uncertainty and expense.

 

Additionally, we see a rise in both mandatory and non-binding arbitration.  Our mediators are fully prepared to serve on arbitration panels to assist in early, effective, and expeditious resolution.  And with the recent legislative tort reform changes we see this as expanding exponentially as parties look to resolve disputes without the use of the Court system.
